Board Member Edward D. Greim Secures Major Victory at SCOTUS with Callais

The Center for Election Confidence (CEC) congratulates board member Edward D. Greim, Esq., of Graves Garrett Greim for his victory this week at the U.S. Supreme Court in the landmark voting rights equality decision, Louisiana v. Callais.

Mr. Greim twice argued Callais before SCOTUS on behalf of Appellees, securing a 6-3 victory on behalf of his clients.

Greim has served on CEC’s board for a number of years and maintains an influential and respected national practice in free speech and election law. His prior experience includes numerous constitutional challenges to election and campaign finance laws, representation of clients in state and federal ethics and campaign finance enforcement actions and investigations, initiative petition drafting and litigation, and advice on campaign and election law compliance.
